EL PASO LEADS UTILITIES HIGHER... El Paso Energy is trading at a new six-month high today and is the top utility percentage gainer. The daily chart shows EP having broken through its September peak at 8. The weekly chart shows the utility leader moving toward its summer high at 10. A close through that chart barrier is needed to turn the major trend upward.
