June & Gloom | Larry's "Family Gathering" June 18, 2024 Recording

June is here! Will it be bloom or gloom for the stock market?

In this month's Family Gathering video, Larry examines the current averages in the market and what the advance-decline line is telling us. He explains the Trading Day of the Month (TDOM) concept and how you can apply it in your trading strategies this month and beyond.

Historically, July has been an interesting month, and that seems certain to hold true this year as well. Larry talks projections for the Dow and for NVDA, and the keys for understanding them right now. He then covers what's next in the forecasts, and explains why it's time to take profits.

From there, Larry follows up on some key stocks, as well as futures, bonds, gold, and Bitcoin. He presents his thoughts on cyclicals, summarizing it thusly: "Cycles are like capitalism. It may not be perfect, but it's the best there is."

In the Q&A section, Larry covers a number of viewer-requested topics, including crude oil projections, what to do when indicators conflict, the best opportunities for going long, how long the current bull market may last, what he thinks of small-caps, and more.

Watch the full video below! Originally recorded on June 18, 2024. And stay tuned for the next Family Gathering webinar, coming to you in mid-July! Before then, watch for Larry's next newsletter, early next month.
