The Fed Cut Discount Rate | Larry's "Family Gathering" September 19, 2024 Recording

Interest rates have been cut -- what now? Larry presents his thoughts in this edition of the Family Gathering video.
In this month's Family Gathering video, Larry begins with what he calls the "Fed Cut Discount Rate" and what it means. What does history make of past interest rate cuts from the Fed? What do they actually mean in a practical sense?
To this end, a key point Larry highlights is the impact of employment and unemployment rates. He also takes a look at what what we might expect to see with the Big Three -- the Nasdaq, S&P 500, and Dow 30.
From there, Larry follows up on some of the stocks he's been tracking. He also zeroes in on Bitcoin, which he's been keeping a close eye on as well. He takes a look at what's happening with the Gold outlook, and what's been driving it, as well as a large trade coming up in Bonds. Finally, he notes that now is a key time to focus on indices -- a great buy point is coming up, so pay attention to any stocks you have that should be stronger than the market!
